Why are so many unlikely people like RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, Hollywood actors and some unions willing to risk becoming anathema to the powers that be to support Trump?
To put this in perspective, we must understand this is not just the risk of being shunned socially or not being invited to a dinner party or two.
It is the risk of:
Facing the full force of the federal, state, and local governments with the objective of destroying their lives. (See Trump lawfare)
The state-run media (ABC,NBC,CBS,PBS,CNN,MSNBS,FOX) attacking their family, not allowing a word to the contrary. Tried and convicted not by a jury of peers but by corporate media with a vested interest in serving the status quo.
Followed closely by the state run/funded social media censoring them and their attempts to defend themselves. Tech giants with a finger in every pie helping shun those who question the official government narratives.

Basically, the worst imaginable dystopian nightmare. Being branded an enemy of the people. As determined by the special interests who run the USA.
We have to wonder why these people ensconced in relatively safe places were willing to take the risk? Easy: There really was no other choice. The ruling political class is not interested the plight of their people, and there is a chance in hell Trump will keep his word.
The job of government is to provide basic things like affordable food, housing, education, healthcare, and an economy with the possibility for average citizens to see improvements in their living conditions. Simple but a lot of western governments have been looking outward instead of inward. Leading from the top where the concerns of the few outweigh the needs of the many.
People from all walks of life are willing to take the risk that Trump might keep his word over the certainty the ruling political class will not.
